borla exhaust any good?
im in the process of redoing my exhaust, ima do a true dual setup, i have pacesetter LTs and ima run no cats and and then a X-pipe then out to 2 oval mufflers, i dont know what muffler i should go with, i hear from a few people that borla is pretty good but just wanted some opinions on them to see if i should use them on my setup. borla is one of the best muffler's out there, but for their price I would seriously consider a hooker aerochamber,,,, longtubes, no cats, hooker aerochambers = well I recommend a hooker is you are not running cats...

Good exhaust system idea. Since you want to run a true dual setup, I would choose either the Borla Turbo XL muffler or a custom stainless steel Magnaflow muffler. Both Borla and Magnaflow have "race" mufflers if you are willing to spend extra money. Flowmaster would have been a good idea 10 years ago, lol.

if i had the money i would go with pacesetter LT's no cats w/ hooker aerochambers and no x-pipe unless u r running full exuast and 450 HP, i have a flowmaster cat-back not to exited about it but the install took about 45 min. there is an old post comparing flowmaster and the aerochambers with a video hookers sound alot meaner not sure about the noise inside the cab tho.

What's the difference between the Turbo XL muffler and then the regular borla muffler? Also what's the difference between getting a center/offset muffler as opposed to a center/center muffler?

I recommend the borla Muffler PROXCESS or XR-1 they both sound great. I have a PROXCESS 3" in and dual 2.5" out all the way to the back with no cats.

Center/center is the inlet is in the center of the muffler and so is the outlet. A center/offset is where the inlet is in the center and the outlet is offset to one side. I suggest getting center/center, cause you'll have to turn the mufflers on their sides to work w/ a center/offset.
