Book on LS1 Edit?

Question Book on LS1 Edit?

Hey guys i'm considering buying LS1 and edit, but i'd like to get a book on the program to know what i'm getting into. I'm sure when u buy the program that it comes with some type of manual, but are there any books with tunning suggestions, or such. I know that the program is very in depth and i just kinda want to know as much as i possible can about it before i actually purchase it. Thanks for any help you guys can provide me with.

The manual for it isn't the best by any stretch of means, but it does roughly explain stuff to you. A lot of info should be pulled from here if you are getting into tuning pretty heavily.

Thanks for the reply Flyer. I'm kinda stupid with stuff sometimes so it helps me to have it in writing, but i think i'm gonna take the big LS1 Edit step. I'll probably go in with one of my buddies and get a two truck software setup. By the way does the program work on Windows XP computers?

Sounds like i've got a lot of trial and error ahead of me

It works great on XP. Its not a hard software to learn either. The simple stuff that a hypertech can do can be programmed in a few minutes. Other stuff usually takes some logging with EFI or Autotap before you know what values to modify.

Hey, I would like a copy too, if its not too much trouble. I didn't know there was such a thing, any info it has has to be better than just learning it from scratch like I have done. Where did you guys get this manual?
