Default Blower Cam Good for Low-End TQ...?

I want to keep my truck for use as a truck (no street or drag racing, just a little fun here and there ). I am wondering if I can benefit from a cam. Would like to keep the stock converter if possible.

Thess are the cams I am looking at...please comment with your experience or ideas:

(1) GM 2001-2002 LS6....204/211 .525/.525 116
(2) Lingenfelter LS1….205/212 .540/.540 116.5
(3) Comp LS1….206/212 .513/.520 115

I am also considering just getting some SLP 1.85:1 rockers and leaving the stock cam in there. What would this do for me, if anything? Stock cam is: 191/190 .466/.457 114

the '02 ls6 cam is different than the '01 ls6 cam

the '02 cam is 204/218 .555/.551 117.5lsa -2retard ground in.

Hmm, this is my info:

2001-2002 LS6....204/211 .525/.525 116
Part # 12560950

2002-2003 LS6....204/218 .555/.551 117.5
Part # 12565308

Guess it's wrong then...Does that mean that the first LS6 cam only came in the 2001?

Blower cam needs 6* split, so if I was to do that I would just do the Comp 212/218, but even then, that's a little too much cam for me. Would need a 2500-2700 stall since the low-end would pretty much go away.

You know, that's a really good question....don't know myself, but most everyone I've talked to (Comp, Cam Motion, etc.) agrees that a 6* min split for a blower cam is desired.

Anyone know what the advance/retard is of the first two cams I have listed in the first post? (I can order Comp's with whatever I want)
