Question Black Smoke?

For some reason, when I'm at WOT or even 3/4 throttle....im shooting out black smoke out my exhaust? I also have a P0300 DTC being thrown, if that would have any relevance.

any ideas?

TYIA,
chris

Black smoke = running rich/unburnt fuel
P0300 = random misfire code

Start checking the basics; Plugs, wires, FPR, etc

Isn't white smoke indicating a coolant leak?

Usually blue smoke is oil burning.

so, my main question is.....is the black smoke and the misfire related?

i have a couple days off this week and plan to look into this more....if i dont see any damage to the plug wires....i guess ill pull out the plugs. what should i be on the lookout for?
