Default Billet Servo?

Got the damned torque management out of the truck and HELLo!!! The truck pulls hard through shifts..probab;y too hard. Doesn't matter how much line pressure I give it via the PCM it wantas to slip under WOT from 1st to 2nd. 2nd to 3rd is fine though. Thought maybe that billet servo would be worth a shot to try and firm up the 1st to 2nd shift before I go and have shift kit put in.

Anyone got the part number?

You dont need the billet one if you have a "street truck". I used the "vette" servo in my buddy's truck and it worked well. If it still slips with the "vette" servo, the band just isnt strong enough and you're crutching that by applying it too hard. Ideally, you replace the 2/4 band with a kevlar one. The billet servo just applies too hard and can crack the band and or the trans case.

I believe he has Edit for his truck!

Hey Mark, Im the guy that helped Griffin pick up his tranny! Killing TM makes a bit of a difference doesnt it! Im thinking about doing that Vette servo too. Its not too hard to put that thing in is it? Isnt there just a small plate with 4 bolts in that comes off, a snap ring or something off and the old servo pops out?

I was checking out the KDS website. I ordered the Vette servo. I saw the other servo kits and wondered if I should have gone with the Billets. Would I be better off with that deluxe Vette servo kit or any of the other kits?? Or should I just get the Trans-Go?

I think the 02 and 03 trucks have the vette servo already. I have the billet ones from KDS and they are nice.

So would it be a good idea to get the Super Servo kit for $79 bucks??
