Default Billet output shaft

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a billet output shaft for a 01 60e tranny. I have looked everywhere(i think) and have only found one for the 700r4 i believe. I did a search in the tranny section and all found were hardened ones. Is the billet shaft necessary or will the hardened one work fine. My truck downshifts into second at 82mph and I have heard that can break an output shaft very easily.

Thanks, cody

I dont think anyone makes a Billet for the 4l60E and I dont think you need one anyway. The hardened one will be just fine.. Ever heard of anyone breaking a hardened one with mods similar to yours? I know your worried about the downshift torque and not the power, but you will be fine..
