Do you do all of your own mods, or is there somewhere on the coast that works on trucks like ours. I was just wondering because I don't have anybody locally that I would trust with things, such as stalls and camshafts, and I just don't know enough to do it myself.

I have done all the wrenching on my truck with the exception of the exhaust since I dont have a welder or bending machine. There is only one shop around here that I trust and he is a buddy of mine that has helped me out on several occasions. He has also done several heads/cam swaps, gears and converters for a couple of my fbod friends. However, I like to do my own work when I can.

The reason I was asking was I got a few projects this winter I'm hoping to get done, but I have absolutely zero experience in anything that isn't bolt-on. I'm actually kinda worried about the pulley install. My girlfriend is ordering them for me tomorrow. We found them for $220. Is that a pretty good price for both pullies, or am I getting the shaft. Thanks for all your help.

slowprocess: Go to Futral, really nice people that know their stuff and really good prices. Oh yeah, get rid of that superchips tuning and have Allen custom tune your truck with LS1edit, you won't regret it!

Do yall have the dyno up and running yet? If so I need to schedule a dyno tune session.
Thanks,
Randy

Thanks Candy and 99silveradoss. I will defintately be getting in touch with Futral during my Christmas break. I won't mind driving 4 hours or staying in a hotel for a day or two if I know the job is being done right. Thanks again.

The dyno is up and running, we are wrapping up last minute things at the new shop so we will be starting to move in next week. I am scheduling dyno appointments so give me a call so we can get you on the books.
