Default Biggest Cam W/O a Stall???

Hey guys,
I want to cam my truck before I get my Nelson tune. What is the biggest cam I can get without needing to replace my stall? I dont want a high stall, does anybody know what the stock stall is?

Stock stall is about 1600 the biggest you should go with if you dont want to get a stall i beleive would be a 222 with a 114lsa but call Allen up and ask him he is one of the ones that is guiding me in my cam choice. He has tuned more trucks than anyone else on this site and can tell you what works and what doesnt.

I have a 206/212 on 112lsa. A stall would help it I think, but its not bad without it

The cam sticky should help you out alot and give you a starting point but like I said the person you really need to talk to is Allen he will know what you should go with. Go ahead and get a stall you wont be dissapointed.

My VHP 210/218 531 on 114 is exactly what I wanted for my 2wd truck, but I think white1's 206/212 would be better for a heavy 4wd.

Well, I had a stock stall for awhile and I'm running a 222/224 Comp Cam on a 112. After Allen tuned it the truck drove great almost stocklike until it really started pulling in the upper RPM. Hell I even pulled my boat w/ it ( about 4000 lbs )...Zed

Well i ran a 198 207 500 500 115.5 out of a 2k vette and only paid 50 bucks for it lol, ok before the cam i was running 14.3 with a 2.21 60' after cam 14.03 with a 2.15 60' rcsb 3.42 gears. No stall converter just a plain stock one lol not much tuneing issues idled perfect sounded stock just a tad better haha i would recommend this cam to anyone that is not going wot on mods that cam with bolts on's was perfect. Good luck.
