Default Which is better for FI motor??

Id like to get this thing pretty much wrapped up in a weekend. Im going to install the vortech, 42lb injectors, new PCM, and 2/3 drop. Since the truck is so heavy (20's with 285/50) I dont know if that will put me where I want to be ( decisivley beating L's). Im debating on doing LT headers or SMC kit with a 9# pulley. Ive heard that headers make a substantial difference on FI motors, but which would be better?? The pulley and alk kit would be cheaper.
What do you guys suggest??

Go with the the LTs.If you have an intercooler the SMC kit probably won't help as much as a set ASM headers.

No intercooler. I planned on doing the aftercooler after the tranny. You guys still think the LT's would be better?? I'll only be pushing 6-7# with the stock pulley.

headers are a great mod on an N/A application... they would be even better for a blower... you'll have to do it sooner or later, might as well do it now.

Ya, youre probably right, it just sucks since I cant do any of that. I'll have to farm it out to an exhaust shop . Not that Im going to be too heavily involved with the blower install or the drop. I'll handle speed dial for pizza or chinese etc. Besides, its well known that no one makes a faster beer run than me Im playing my part, its a fair deal.

Headers hands down over more boost. Now that you're FI, it'll make a bigger difference than N/A.

its in the front passenger side... looks like a cylinder, w/ a braided hose going into the manifolds...
