Default best way to spend $600?

Well guy's I'm trying to help my buddy out and was curious about yall's opinions. He has a 2000 5.3 rcsb silverado 2/4 drop,20's, K&N CAI, Pacesetter LT's, Efan, vette servo, shift kit, 4.10's, tune. And wants to add something else performance wise. He's looking to spend around $600. I suggested to get 243/799 heads. What would yall's thoughts be about what to add next? Cam kit ? Nitrous?

Does he have an aftermarket torque converter yet? If not I would get a higher stalling torque converter first before getting a cam and springs IMO.

A decent stall will yield better results than a cam in most cases. Good luck, it seems you have some shopping to do. lol

I would really try to talk him into a smaller than 278mm converter if he wants a converter. I just know a lot of people go that route to save a little bit of cash for a good budget converter.

Try to get a 10.5" or smaller diameter converter instead of an 11 incher lol.

Best bang for buck mod after nitrous is the converter. Nitrous slowly surpasses the cost of a converter. Save a little more and get a converter imo
