I had the extra set of Taylors, but after they screwed up, I've got my stock ones on.

I believe there's performance and driveability to be found there.

On my '02 Avalanche, aftermarket plug wires cleaned up the off idle flat spot, and required less throttle to cruise.

I put in an order for Taylor TV50's the other day, for the SS........

I had MSD's on the Av. They measured in somewhere around 50 or 75 (I really forget, but I know they were low).

The stock Av wires were around 400 ohms.

The SS's wires are 900 ohms.

Magnacore wires are expensive,but they deliver.After having problems with Taylor wires losing boots and coming off the plug,I switched to Magnacores and I've had good luck with them.

Old thread but in case anyone cares

Some of the biggest name shops that build tune and turn out 1000k hp cars daily use OE wires.

I use MSD, because you can pose them in different positions which is awesome because it keeps them off the headers and you don't need to waste money on heat jackets for them.
