Best place for PP throttle body?

Default Best place for PP throttle body?

What are the best places to order/get a throttle body ported and pollished? Also what throttle body is on a 2010 5.3 silverado? 87mm?It's my brother in laws truck and I'm wanting to surprise him with it when he gets back from deployment.

I just picked up a ls3tb from ebay for 139.99 and going to send it to peak speed shop to get it ported along with a l92 intake..price for porting tb is 125 if you have just the th ported if you do intake plus tb they knock off 50 bucks from tb

I thought about trying it myself but that's about the only thing I don't have experience with. Plus it's for my bro in laws truck. I'd hate to screw up his throttle body lol. My first guess wa peak speed shop just wondering what ppl were using.

Personally I think its a waste of money unless you are pushing the limits of the one that's installed. You are still limited by the diameter of the blade, you cannot open up around the blade.

THIS!!^^^

only thing I think is a great idea, atleast in the later models is knocking down that big *** hump in front of the blade, but knife edging and all that **** I think is a total waste of time honestly.

part throttle and midrange driveability is noticeably improved, worth about 5-8hp for the numbers crowd.i used antivenom efi and they have theirs cnc ported, and slightly different then everyone else
