thunder, you need to work on not being so CHILDISH on this board. you have about 20-30 rwhp worth of mods there, plus your 4.10s which are the best upgrade you have, and probably the only reason you MIGHT be able to take a modded 5.3, but the fact remains that the 4.8 is completely and totally inferior to the 5.3!!!

i measured everything for a 4 link on my truck with stock rearend a few weeks ago and it's pretty tight...that's why i thought about a 12 bolt that already has 4 link brackets on it to make it a little easier. as for the 2 20# bottles they wont do you much good when you aren't running enough of a shot.hehehe...just diggin at ya. 300 shot or bust!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive got a 5 link setup in the rear of my truck. I have bags but it would be very easy for you guys to copy the kit i have or even just buy the kit minus the bags and a few other things and build your with coilovers or just coil springs. Just a thought that i might throw out there.

driving skills wont get you 3 lengths on an equally moded truck with a BIGGER motor...unless the other guy had terrible terrible wheel spin.

keuka- that would be pretty cool. i wish that we could be cool also and not have to argue so much. i guess i just get too mad online. ill have to work on controling that

no problem man. i understand. everyone on this site should get along and help each other out since we all have something in common, LS1 engines. we learn from each other in order to make our trucks better. hope that wasn't to sappy

I also have the auburn and Im very happy with it. Auburns are not rebuildable, but they have a do have a trade in program for a new one if you should need.
