I am looking to do the free mods that will make the most difference on a STOCK 5.3

will and custom tube between the MAF and the TB and a ram air set up on the stock box make any difference in the the 1/4???

not likely atleast not much. the worst things about these trucks is the TM pulls so much away from them. I posted down in the truck forum general about my mishap friday night at the local 1/4. I ran a 16 at 85 in a regular cab. Let's jsut say I was really pissed and still steamin. I only got one run in which really hurt becasue it could have jsut been a mis calculation or just a bad run all together.

 

I hear ya, my times are posted stock below. But it was at 4k feet as well. Cant wait for the shift kit and tune.
