Like the title says whats the best all around for daily driving. I am wanting a cam that i can hear and people know iv got one but not anything crazy. I was thinking the typical z06 cam & springs with a tb stall. Im just not sure id be satisfied with that, im wanting a big hp/tq jump. Iv heard its not worth the time to just do the z06 cam.

Both of those are pretty good for daily drivers, the latter requring a little tuning.. Im sure others will chime in..

Yea, i wouldnt go less than a 3000.. I love mine..

 

the hot cam doesnt sound too bad but i wana say i read somewhere that it wasnt the best for a truck, i duno maybe it was a different one, but i dont see many people running it.

 

That cam is a little tame for most people here, thats why.. and the ones who have ran it, have moved on to something bigger.. Its not a bad cam, but if you are going to do the work to put it in, might as well do it right the first time, and not wish you would have went bigger when you get it all back together..

 

yeh thats what i was thinking do it right the first time. I just want one that makes good power, works good with a 3000 stall, and people know i got a cam when i crank it up.

 

with a 3000 stall I would go with a Comp 216/220

I really like the Comp 212/218 hilift that I have with no stall.

 

TR 220 and a 3000 stall. I have a 2000 Z71, and run a 223/226 with a 3200 and love it.

 

white1 do you have any sound clips? If i was to put a 3k stall in i might as well go with a 3200. Also i was trying to get some prices and i cant find any retailers for yank converters?? i looked for like 30 min the other night.
