Default Bassani Headers

I emailed this place (below) and asked why Bassani says their headers (part # 531500) won't fit 4.8L's. They are listed to fit only 5.3L and 6.0L engines. What's up with that? Anybody know why?

compatible with the 4.8L, but wasn't able find out exactly *why*.

Maybe someone should explain to Bassani that the 4.8 is a V8 and not to be mistaken for the 4.3 V6 or the 4.2 I6. But if they are correct in that statement, then they have some new science that we don't understand. I mean, same block and heads, Hmmmm... don't think I wanna buy from someone that doesn't even know what thier own product fits.

always good when the company making the headers doesn't know that they are basically the same engine with no external differences.

well, we know their sky high prices didnt come from all the time they spent in research

looks like a damn halloween costume for the engine with the spikes and stuff. interesting... picture of these ugly beasts
