Default Barely idle in dirve.....

ok, i am loosing more hair than i already don't have. i have tried everything i can think of (timing, raised idle to 800, drilled t/b plate to within IAC specs, tried adjusting t/b stop screw) to make this thing idle in drive but to no avail. nothing helps, at all. the problem is only in drive, it idles fine in park, reverse, and neutral so is obviously related to a drive table somewhere. any ideas anyone?

Did this just randomly start happening or did you just install something?? Does it drive fine otherwise?

I have an idle problem as well which sometime causes the truck to die. However, I'm thinking my problem may be different than yours.

My truck is vertually stock and mainly upon startup the truck has a up and down idle by about 200-300 rpm. When backing up and turning it will often die, but now has begun to die after it warm and just rolling forward. (say into a driveway or parking spot)

UPDATE! now it idles fine after driving it around. i don't get it. %$#@ learning ECM's! but what did it learn? no doubt it will do this all over again next time i flash it.

it would idle and drive just fine, but when you would come to a COMPLETE stop, it would barely idle at all.
this is a 408 w/blower/cam/etc.
