Default backpressure

is a little bit of backpressure on a truck good for it? or is it better to have none at all?

I've heard that some is good for n/a vehicles, the less the better for s/c'ed, and you can't get around having it w/ turbo vehicles. I'm not sure on the soundess of the argument for n/a or s/c vehicles.

from what i read, you don't want backpressure. Instead you want scavenging of the exhaust. There is a difference(that of which I could not tell you).

you definately dont need backpressure like random hero said you just need good scavaging of the exhaust ive seen it on the dyno makes much better power on n/a engines without back pressure and good scavaging that was with open headers and 20 inches of pipe to allow for better scavaging
