Default B&M Transcooler install

The transcooler came in the mail. How have you all installed your coolers? It seems like it will be a really easy install if i take the output of the OE cooler and run that into the input of the new radiator mounted cooler. How much fluid should that add, and how much time did it take you all?

You are on the right track ... just cut a portion out of the return line (on top) and use that to run hoses to and from the cooler. Just mount it up front and call it done. Easy as pie.

if you do use both coolers,, it would be better for it to flow thru the stock one first to cool it dont a little, then thru the b&m so it cools down even further. if you do it the other way, it will probably heat back up in the stock cooler. just my 2cents that everyone probablly knew anyways.

You need to leave it running through the radiator, but add the B&M up front. I thought you were talking about the actual trans cooler.

i was planning on taking the output of the stock cooler, and running that into the input of the B&M (which i'm sticking up front somewhere) and then running the return into the stock return location.

I am wondering how much more fluid it will require in the transmission...i don't see how the install will take more than around an hour, but you never know with these damn things.
