As long as he is stock, and you are sure of it, you will kick his ***. My dad has a Z-71 Avalanche that's no slouch but it couldn't hang with a regular cab 4.8.
I would be leary of racing him for money though. He sounds a little too cocky IMO. Kind of like a guy that would slip in a 100 shot on you!
