Eaton makes an E-Locker for it, part number 19622-010, and one for the 9.5" semi float 14-bolt rear as well, part 19684-010. These were developed for the Hummer H2. In the Hummer they will not engage over 7mph or stay engaged over 20mph. I'm not sure if the limitation is in the electronics or some type of centrifugal mechanical internal switch. Almost anything can be bypassed where there's a will...

does the hummer have the 2500ld front end parts? a front locker could help me a lot.
i have a junk front diferential from a 2500hd and it would be dificult to get under my truck, the flanges are 2" farthur apart. i would like to know if the 2500ld/1500hd unit is larger than the 1500unit but smaller than the 2500hd unit.

They do have different frames though, so the 1500HD 925 might be closer.
I'll get some pics up later on today

if it is the right width i am sure i could get it to work. if it is wider then i need to look at the rest of the front suspension and see if i can swap it all over. if it is wider and the front suspension is diferent then it will be hard to get it to work.

I can tell you straight away that the 8lug, AAM 925 is wider than the 6lug, AAM825.
I will see what I can do on the measurement (hub flange to hub flange), but isn't the suspension mounting points more important?
