Default Auto-headlights question.

I have a 2001 S-10 ZR2. I just put in an aftermarket radio and now the DRLs and the auto headlights dont work. Does GM wire them through the radio? There was an extra plug in the radio that I dont know what it does <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> Any way to make them work again? Thanks.

For some reason I think they do, but I'm not quite sure. I seems like I ran into a similar problem when I had my 97 camaro. Did you use an aftermarket harness or not ? Fuse ?

Hmmm, interesting

I have noticed a few times (and chalked it up to coincidence) that when I hit the eject button on the CD player that the headlights turn on (when normal DRL's are on) and it's getting near dusk.

I can't imagine how they would be related but it's happened on quite a few occasions.
