Do a search for "Seafoam" and a bunch of stuff should come up
I was thinking the same thing.

My engine has less than 10K miles on it....would that be a problem already?

I seriously doubt it. Being in AZ though I would point to our gas. It's literally **** water at 91 octane and I get bad batches from time to time. Put some 100 octane in and see what happens. Seafoam or GM top engine cleaner couldn't hurt though.

Audible knock seems to go away when I spray meth....you're probably right about shitty gas.

Yea, I wouldn't doubt that it's poop gas quality...although you still might benefit from some Seafoam since you were experiencing that oil consumption problem. Probably won't help with the pinging, but it couldn't hurt.
