Default Question...

... is I'm a bit confused. The "B" motor was only available in an 05, ECSB and "Only "3.42's" or "4.10's" were offered. Unless somthing changed or he had the 3.73's installed.
I even called GM and ranted on the demise of the 3.73's for 05 in the ecsb.

Hate To Be a Persistant PITA,
..but I am a stickler for detail.

Another Question?
I don't know much about using a Dyno and all of what kind of things can create variables in RWHP results.
Lets say you get two motors tuned to have the same crankshaft HP at simular RPMs', both in the same kind of vehicles but one has 3.42 and the other has 3.73 gears.
Are the difference in gears going to effect the amount of RWHP at a given RPM or the total output rating?

Gears will not effect the RWHP rating.

I believe the truck does have 4.10's. No need to worry about your rwhp number, it will be plenty high and you will love the radix. I installed one for a customer last weekend and, like you, he was a stickler about his truck. His 01 4X4 was very well taken care of. I spoke with him yesterday and he told me he couldn't be happier with it and has no regrets about doing it.
