Default ATS damper on a truck

Today,I was talking to the builder of my new shortblock and out of the blue,he says that they had added a ATS damper to my shortblock, because it's going to be supercharged.I asked him the following questions. Will a ATI damper work with a truck accessary drive? How much smaller diameter is the ATS pulley? And how is this going to cost me?I still haven't heard back from him,he said that the shortblock was crated today for shipment.I don't guess I can do anything to my Tahoe without some drama.

Unless it's specifically for a truck it won't work. The truck and car accesories don't sit the same distance from the motor.

I had sent them a stock crank pulley to be keyed to the Eagle crank.I don't know if the pulley swap has anything to do with the recall on Eagle cranks, but this shortblock on it's second crank and has never been installed.I've never heard of a ATS damper for a truck.

Id be pretty irritated about someone putting something on and charging me for it without consulting with me previously. Im not sure what your situation with the builder is like (maybe you gave him free reign to build a badass), but that **** wouldnt fly with me. Of course, I have no idea what an ATS damper is and my truck is no where near the beast you are driving.

If its built for an LS1 car, then it won't work unless you move to all car accessories.

Do you know if the engine builder had to send back the other two Eagle kits that they had and were working on before yours? When I stopped in last month, I was told that the first two kits were in the works.

They machined the first two kits themselves to make them work,I told them I didn't care if it took a couple of weeks longer, that I wanted mine right. They said that Eagle had corrected all the problems with the replacement cranks.
