LS1HowTo has an article here that is a cam/spring swap, but it shows the removal and installation of a crank pulley.

I wish I had all the parts. I'm planning on doing a cam swap in a few weeks, but it's a 6 week lead time on the set. So I'll have to do the swap and leave the stock pulley, or put off the swap for a while. Kinda sucks when I have everything else I need on the way.

Let us know how it goes
