I think the torsion bars may be the issue.

Doesnt S/W's offer highflow cats and a y? They should fit with the headers. All though I dont remember seeing any posts dont they offer catbacks too. Thats what I remember their web site saying. It seems you were happy with the Gibsons, so any Lt should be that much better.

Yep, the SW's come as a complete header and y-pipe system, but they're only listed for 03-05, and nobody seems to know for sure if there's any difference between the 99-02's and if they'll fit properly. They do make a chambered cat-back also.

I considered the Dynatech's, but I plan to go true dual after the y and install an x around the area where the y meets. The SW's look like the y junction could just be replaced with an x and I could have the dual pipes come off of that. And honestly, I know this may sound silly, but that Dynatech hump on the driver's side is kinda funky looking to me.

hey I have been happy with my ASM's have had no problems with my coating and I have been running them over a year. They make great hp/tq #'s as well and you know they will fit, and I have not had any exaust leaks or nothing like that either. I believe you will be happy with ASM's..... hey its only money haha. Get them and dont worry about it no more and yo have a great reliable set of headers.

Call me at 800-878-3635. We will make you a good deal on the headers if you let us know how they fit. They "should" but I hate to state that when we have never installed them on an earlier truck.

For dyno #'s comparing our headers to another manufacturers-our headers as used by GMHTP were on a truck with no bolt ons. The numbers improved a lot after the tune, and also if we wanted to generate big dyno numbers for the magazine, we would have had a truck with tons of mods first and then the headers would show huge gains. We also back our headers with a limited lifetime warranty, so these will be the last set you have to buy.

Thanks
Al

Would your headers work any better with a quality coating (like Jet-Hot) inside, and out.
