got the truck back from the exhaust shop today, they did a great job. only problem is it is a little too loud under a light to mid load. WOT is loud and sounds good, idle is perfect, a little raspy but not cackly like glas packs. the set up is ASM headers 3" true duels, no cats, big body super turbos with 3" cores and tail pipes both out the stock location, it looks prety cool.

I would get autotap and see whats up, there is no reason why you only gained a second from all the mods. Then again, Whipples are very good for off the line power but run out as they rev out.

parish8 - Is the 6.0L in good condition? Does your truck smoke or show other signs that the motor may have mechanical problems.
I'm thinking you should be in the mid 13's or so with your setup. I think your losing alot of power with your knock problems but, I don't think tuning could account for all your "missing" power if your only running 15.1's now.
Maybe you should take the whipple off and see how it runs N/A. If the knock still showed then you would know something was screwy. It would be alot of work probably but, the process of elimination is the only way.
If you get too frustrated you could probably sell the whipple and buy heads, cam, and N20.

What were the trap speeds you ran with those times and what altitude is your track?
Have you recorded your total timing tables?
what were they? How are you o2s and LTrims and Strims?

the truck has a ton of power up to mid throttle, i think 90% of my problem is due to the knock retard. i have looked every thing over more than once and there doesn't apear to be anything touching that can cause it. i dont think it is real but i don't want to kill my knock sensors either. the 6.0 had only 4000miles on it but a compresion check can't hurt. pulling the whipple off and going na would be no big deal.
on some short runs last night, 1st thru about 1/2 way thru 2nd my 02's were .90-.92 timing around 4-8deg, kr 6-8deg most of the time at WOT. i recorded ltrims a few times before the exhaust and they averaged -3 wich seemed good enuff to not mess with.
i think it may be time to desentatize the knock sensors. oxidizer.. can i get a copy of that Knock it program you have mentioned.
i haven't been keeping very close track of my times or trap speeds because they are all over the place, i clearly have a problem it is a big problem so i should know when it goes away. the engine i have had a rod replaced, could they have goten the cam out of time changing a rod? does the timing chain have to come off for that job?
