The iridiums will last 3 times as long but cost 3 to 4 times as much, they're good for folks who don't want to have to replace their plugs that often. I've had factory platinums, Denso iridiums, and NGK TR55's in my truck and it's run the same with all of them. Just swapped in a new set of TR55's this weekend (less than $2 a plug when I bought them)

Anyone that hangs around the site long enough ends up putting a new engine in at the plug change intervals anyway.

I've said it many times before....the engine is MUCH easier to maintain when you pull it out. Oil changes are a breeze, coolant flush is easy, plugs are simple as hell

I put magnecor wires on my truck, i ordered them from thunder racing for $79.99. i also went with the NGK TR-55IX plugs. I asked a similar question about those E3 plugs on the Silveradoss.com and their reply was that they were junk don't buy them, They recommened the plugs i got or just regular NGK TR-55. hope this helps, Bryan
