Anything special I need to know to trade from 4.8 to 6.0 engine besides for the tranny? Also, what tranny should i be looking for to go with the 6.0 for towing?

 

if you have a 2001 and up, a 2001 and up 6.0 will drop right in and connect to your existing tranny, all accessories from the 4.8 will also swap over. You will however need to upgrade your tranny to a built 65e or 80e to handle the new found power. I believe the 99 and 00 have the iron heads and different crank spacing comming out of the back of the block.
