Wassup guys. I've got a '97 C1500 with the 5.7L Vortec Engine. If I'm going to install an LT-4 cam, what else do you guys recommend I go ahead and get while I'm at it. I'm already planning on re-doing my exhaust and getting some headers. I've also already got a Nelson tune so of course I plan on getting that re-tuned. Is there any kind of lifter kits, etc. you guys recommend I get? Thanks, Jeremy.

you'll need valve springs and pushrods are reccommended but i dont think you'll need lifters

I would get some valve springs also. I owuld get some Comp cams 26915 or 26918 beehive springs and matching retainers, use your stock locks.

These springs/retainer will allow you to run over .525" lidft on teh iron Vortec heads as well.

If your lifters are in good shape, they will be fine as well.
