Funny...I was just talking to someone about this cam, IMHO it's the best "stock" cam Crane makes. I'd skip it if you're looking to make any kind of REAL power though as a 200/200 .502/.502 113 is only gonna be good for ~10hp at the most (this cam is smaller than the stock LS6 cam by a long shot and has a lower exhaust duration than all but the original LQ4/LR4/LM7 cams)

I'd go bigger....

look at a 212/218 or a 210/218 for good low-end power and still have the ability to spin to 6000rpm's

Comp makes a 212/218 .535/.535 114 that's pretty good

Go to: http://www.vincihighperformance.com/...s%20truck.html for a GREAT list of truck cams.....I'm running the "044" from Vinci and LOVE it (I wanna go bigger now though)

Yep.....works GREAT with the stock converter and will even do OK on the stock tune for awhile, but to get the most out of it a custom tune is a MUST !!

If you can wait a few months I've got one I'll sell you....

Ya I can wait. Might have to take you up on that. What else am I gonna need to buy? springs? lifters? pushrods? rockers? And like I said earlier im fixin to get headers. Should I run true duals after the cam or leave it like it is?

You'll need 02+ LS6 or LS2 springs, Hardened pushrods (not necessary but good insurance) and a gasket set, other than that everything else will work fine....I'm lookin' to get $200 for the cam so when I'm ready to swap I'll let ya know

I'd leave the exhaust after the headers alone with the exception of a good muffler (Magnaflow)
