anyone spinning the mt et streets on the track?

I went 1.65 60ft with 26-11.5-16's , thats spraying 175 shot straight out the gate, they've hooked good for me

12 psi, these were used with about 50% tread left

Yup sounds about right to me... Yours get squirely on the top end @ 12?

Nah, 12 is good, i wouldnt advise any lower, tried 10 and fought it from one side to the other, not cool at 118mph

I know they prep the track for stickies and such, but how much of a difference is there between how they hook on the track and how they hook on the street? Like I said above, last time when I went to the track with them, they hooked as good on the highway as they did on the track. If anything, they hooked better on the street than on the track, because when I got there I had to start dropping the tire pressure to keep it from spinning them on the 1-2 shift. Now, with the new stall, they dont hook up any better on the street with a healthy burnout, than my nitto 555 street tires. I dont want to head back to the track and not be able to hook, if you know what I mean.

I dont have much luck hooking on the street, ive got the caltracs setup where they bind the suspension alot and it doesnt squat any, so without a sticky surface..... no traction

My extra weight is why mine is a handful @ 12 I'm sure..

Well that is all we run now at NPR I have pull a 1.64 60' and we have a x-cab pulling 1.74 60'.work great for us.I run about 16lbs in the x-cab runs about 20lbs.
