Anyone replaced a 5.3 Gen3 with 6.0 VMAX L76 Gen4?

I'm doing research regarding swapping in a 2007-2008 6.0L VMAX, L76 into a 2000-2006 Chevy truck. The 6.0 VMAX has both VVT (variable valve timing)and AFM (cylinder deactivation).
If someone has done this and would like to share some tricks, please do so.
Wiring issues? Getting the instrument cluster to work? Etc...

for that l76 to work, you will have to swap out to a gen3 cam w sproket. or just a regular non vvt cam from any gen4 fam. and use a 24t reluctor wheel to start.
there shouldent be any problems with cluster.

Actually, you need the E38 PCM to run the VVT and AFM. Then just use the stock PCM for some gauges. Speartech did a 6l80 swap with the a Gen IV LS2 and did it this way. The only thing that didn't work was the gear indicator because of the 6l80.

I would look for a 6l80 as well! Its well worth it!
Give Speartech a call.
