Default Anyone else's Dynatech's Hitting Passenger Frame?

I have a major problem. I have posted on my problem a couple of times. I now found out that it's not my y-pipe that's the problem. My passenger side header is sitting on the frame all the time now. I don't know when it started doing that, i mean i looked at them when i had them installed and they weren't like that before. Bolts are all tight, no problems there. Anyone else's hitting? If so, should i take this up with dynatech? I mean ****, everytime i go over rough road or turn left i hear the damn things rattling off the frame. There is plenty of clearance more towards the firewall and towards the motor, i don't know why they made them so damn close. I thought these were made for our trucks, obviously not ALL of them. I need help or info.

Driver side too huh? i have no problems there. FUnny thing is that my motor doesn't move at all, even when i rev it up and stuff, i don't know why they moved. You gonna do anything about yours or just leave it alone?

Dynatech found that there was a variance in the truck frames from various years a little on the late side. They told me this themselves. They actually swapped my Dynatechs out for the new design (without driverside looped primary) and correct header configuration for my particular truck. Though, they did this for me because mine were new and not used.
At least they caught this issue. Bad for you other guys that are having these issues though.
You could dimple the header a little where they are rubbing at. Might be a bit hard with them installed though...

Leaving it alone for now. I've thought about creasing the tubes a little though.

Thats about what I did with my PaceSetters. I think because of my 80e conversion, the motor angle is a little diferent than stock so they touch the frame rail from time to time. I used a big crow car to custom fit them.

I just bought Dynatech's but haven't installed them yet so I don't know how they fit. It was mentioned that there are differences in the frames...is there a difference in the part numbers for the different frames? I don't want to try and install them and find they don't fit.

Well, that's a chance that you will have to take. If they hit, take them off, don't use them.
Does the driver side header have a high upper loop in one of the primary tubes? If it does, they may be the older design.
I'm not sure if they changed the part#'s on the headers.

Before I bought mine I read about this from a few others. They had said they called and talked to dynatech about it and got everything straightened out. I talked to dynatech about this before purchasing mine and they said the problem was fixed. I don't have a problem, they are close but they do not touch. Dynatech is aware of this, I would contact them and see what they have to say.
