Default Anyone in Cali with AS&M headers?

I am looking to get some AS&M headers for my truck. AS&M's webpage says nothing about CARB exemption or legality for California trucks.

Has anyone with these headers in california had problems with smoging their trucks?

If the AS&M's aren't legal in cali then I guess I will go with the Other Guys headers. Are these headers long tube headers?

From what I know TOG headers aren't as long as the ASM headers but it can't be by much. To install TOG headers you cut your existing collectors right in front of the CATS and weld their new collector in place. On one side the new collector is about 4 inches long while the other is maybe 8 inches. The difference in length is due to the different locations of the CATS, the headers are the same size.

They say they are mid length headers, but they could only get a couple inches longer before you had to move your CATS (illeagal annyway). So I would call them long tubes.

TOG fit great, claim to make 43hp, and are CARB legal.

They were running a special on them last month. I bet you could get a good deal if you gave them a call.

Do TOG and AS&M have web sites for their headers?
