Default Anyone bypassed the internal FPR in the tank and convert to Return style?

I have been wanting to move to a return style fuel system for awhile. I hate the internal filter and FPR... I have been thinking about bypassing the setup and just running the hose from the pump to the top fitting. I would also add a bulkhead fitting for the return. Then just the normal stuff on the engine, new rails and FPR next to the rails...

Just wondering if anyone else has done this, seems simple enough.

One question thou, would i need to add a check valve in the feed line?

The stock pump has a built in check valve so you're good there. Are you looking at changing out the fuel lines or just doing minimal changes to convert to return?

I have the magnacharger 255 kit currently installed i am not sure if it has a check valve installed in it. Yep i am planning on swapping out everything. I would like to address my fueling to handle any future mods i may or may not do in the future. Basically opposite from what evryone else does.

Yes, I did a very long write up on it, "return-style conversion" I think I called it.
