In our evergoing search for the right exhaust setup, I ran up on this system. They do pretty good work for diesels, what about gas burners. Check out the link and throw some opinions out there.

Pretty interesting combo. I'd like more info on the exhaust setup. It doesn't look too bad at all. If its priced right, it would be worth a try.

It all looks good, but they are only getting 24 hp and that is a 5.3. Although it will work for the 4.8 the gains may not be the 24 that they got with the 5.3. And, it is probably grossly over priced for an entire exhaust and intake system. Find out how much it cost and go from there, but from the looks of it, I would pass and piece together a proven system.

Im new to the truck scene so my reasoning may be off, but the gains they got just do not seem high enough.

i agree, it could go either way though
i recall a test where a 4.8 picked up more rwhp than the 5.3 on a cat back swap.

being stainless throughout, I'm sure its $$$$

'torque tube' header says it mounts with no gasket/sealant

looks like a nice system

if he got it he would be installing it on a 6L. i think i would find some used headers and go that route. it is sure to be much cheaper. also, i am sure that whole kit cost more than the dynotech system which looks pretty nice.
