Could you imagine the daily driver setup needed to go 11's in a 5400+lb truck that wasn't FI. Ugh. Can ya say 5K Converter and 240 duration?

No Z71 here but I am currently on a quest to break into the 12s on motor only in my heavy *** pig, within the next year sometime but not anytime really soon as I am broke as hell right now.

the real question is....has anyone done this on the stock bottom end of the stock motor?

Most of us, yes
I am on stock block, stock heads have never been off. Only cam swap. The other's mentioned previously are also (Or were) on stock engines.

I have a set of aftermarket rod bolts in mine so counts me out.
