I would have to say a 12.3x is highly likely comparing his 1.77 60' and 1/8 et to my 12.38 run.
1.70 7.83@86.79 12.38@107.23 and this is on nitrous so it tends to fall off more on the topend where a blower will shine. 2tone.. what was your 1/8 mph? If I were to guess I would say a little higher than mine. F8L's numbers are probablly a better/closer comparison than mine.

a radix has made over 500 on the built 5.7 and MNC5 (edit: enough power to make 500 at the wheels, but only on an engine dyno) on the SS board with his 6.7 has gotten over that, but not efficiently. to get a 500rwhp pass out of a radix is going to be an engine that makes around 440 or more without the blower. it's at this point do you decide if it's worth having the 5k worth of blower sitting on top when that could have been the money for a stroker that can make 500rwhp by itself and not have to wait for cooldown time. more than a couple of pass's with the radix and a 2.75 pulley gets the blower really warm and the power just goes downhill....

My truck WILL have 500 rwhp on stock 5.3 internals.

My tanny is not going to hold up.. I know this very well. Once the GT-67 and FMCI go on in a few weeks... it's the tranny and some n2o spray that will get me there ..... although I am going to most likely put my money elsewhere such as traction improving devices.

WOW did this thread blow up in the past 30 min. Geez!

Im not sure of my reasoning behind going for this 500 number. Im kinda the why the hell not kinda guy. Maybe I just have this evil desire to see how many times I can thrash my 4l60? Maybe im just bored? Maybe Im developing some parts? Maybe I just like to make 10 page threads?

Im just having fun with it. If it survives the dyno we are heading to the track right afterwards. I dont just dyno race.

Good news to those that come to see the carnage, or the celebration....we have a kegerator in house. Nice!
