Default Any nitrous guys running an LS1 timing tuner?

I was curious if anyone had any experience with one of these things? I'm going to go with a 100-150shot sometime this year, and I've been told I would need to make adjustments on the timing, and since I don't have any type of tuning software, I thought this might be a handy thing to have.

The LS1 timing tuner has a nitrous control feature including activation delay, timing retard, and activation controls based on rpm. Basically, it says the system is can be optimized for non-N20 driving and when the trigger wire is energized, the secondary settings are activated.

Seems like a nice thing to have so you can optimize both motor passes and nitrous passes. What do you guys think?

I looked into that awhile back when I was debating whether I should get a dry or a wet kit. From what I gathered, the timing tuner would be best for a dry kit, but you could also use it for a wet kit too if you wanted. The reason I wanted to get it for a dry kit is so that when N/A I could have full timing and when I activate the nitrous it would take the timing down a bit so you won't go lean and detonate during the nitrous run.
Do a search in the nitrous section, some guys are running it.

I was going to use one when I 1st did the n20 but was told by Nelson that I would be fine with a 100 wet shot and the tune that I had and I was! I was running 30 or 31 degrees timing WOT with a 100 shot and was getting no KR and I know that some others are spraying with more timing with no KR. I didnt end up getting it basiclly because I wanted the MSD digital WS and since the Timing Tuner is also a WS I wouldnt make myself do it! I plan on buying one very soon though for the hell of it(for retarding timing only and maybe the n20 delay). It is a good part though! Alot of the F-body guys use them!

That is a good idea on a big shot unless you just do the NX Maximizer!

Good deal. Have you gotten a nitrous pass down yet? I'm really curious, because I'm looking forward to seeing what it is going to do. You're faster than I am, but I'm keeping an eye on your setup to get an idea of where I can take the truck from here.
