Any changes of the frame of the truck from obs to nbs?

Just curious if there was any drastic frame changes, such as overall length, design, etc. Reason for asking is that I'm still thinking about ordering those traction bars for the obs trucks, and I was wondering if I'm going to have to do any length fabrication on them to work. Thanks guys.

you're not going to like this answer, but it's the only one.
i had a 93' silverado, and about 5 years ago, lakewood used to make traction bars for it, and i ordered them. at the time, they had cancelled the production indefinatly for the 2wd 88-98 bars. so i get sent the old c-10 style bars (74-87). i lined them up.... and they didn't quite fit.... the only thing wrong though,was that the two mounting brackets just weren't tall enough. the bar would hit the axle tube, but the brackets didn't touch the springs. simple fix though...buy some new longer bolts.... and fab yourself up some maybe 1-1.5" steel spacers, and you're good. i used about 5-6 pieces of quarter inch steel, stacked on top of each other. this may sound hokey, and i was 17 at the time.... now adays i'd buy some heavy steel and make it one piece, or have it machined. in any case....... they worked great. plus it gave you adjustability, you could get the bump on the bar as close to the spring as you wanted. this worked great, and greaty improved the truck.

They do have those for all the chevy 2wd/4wd trucks. And with those you won't get any axle wrap or wheel hop. They work just like the torque arms on the F-bodys.
