Ok if it is any lower I cant tell here is a pic I took this morning and one that I had from a few weeks ago I zoomed in on the exhaust tip the best I could.

I did the research by going to the GM Parts Department, and having the cat-back exhaust systems for both the VHO and SS looked up. He even showed it to me on his on screen display. The systems are little different. The design/ hanger levels/ part numbers are all different.
I couldn't believe it myself until I seen it.

we have one sitting on the lot now. came in this morning. anyone notice that the 05's have a 9.5" rear diff? must be prepping for next years LS2...

They are in fact the same ... I have installed one myself. The rear tip is lower than I personally woudl like due to the lack of the fascia however it is a difference on only 2 inches. When I get back to work on Monday I will send over some pics for your evaluation if you so desire.
