Another New Time from Tonight :)

Hey, I think we all had a good time there. Daniels' truck is just awesome for such a tiny motor. That Porsche was testing out the wall to see if it would hold up, he really was aiming for the 101 sign just overshot it. Maybe he thought he'd finish the race in reverse, he was pretty far ahead of the Dodge...
After dyno tuning my truck today I found out the stock GM timing was screwed up from 4500rpm, so that got fixed. Was running 7 degrees knock retard, ouch. Since my 5200+ pound truck is ready to go (more power, no torque management, better shifts), I'll hafta get a Thursday off sometime, it's a 3 hour drive for me (191 miles to get there)...
I think I remember the Pontiac, was it a darker red, like burgundy? I enjoyed watching most of the cars and trucks, got beat by every one that I raced...

Hey, you know what they say, if you can't out run the Porchse, Run em into the Wall!
He hit the wall on a run up beside me... yea, beside me for about a 1/100 th of a second. left me at the tree like an afterthought. It WAS a really nice car. I am thinking it had a Chevy Motor in it but I was not able to find out. I have that on Video but I am unable to host it due to the firewall here.

I picked up the kit from Ebay used for $280. I have spent about an additional $180 in jets, fuel lines and fittings, and for the bottle heater since all that stuff was new. About the only thing out there for the Titan that I don't have is the CAI kit for about $250. It just didn't make sense to me to buy that over the nitrous.
Right now there are no chips, programmers, torque converters, throttle bodies, intakes, gears, etc, etc - waa waa waa. JBA makes some shorty headers but they are a lot of $$ just for a couple of horsepower.
