I DD my truck. MPG is around 9-10 in the city. Driving 1/4mile at a time between red lights. was getting 13 stock so its reasonable for me. A good tune will help keep your MPG up

My intown mpg went down. A little. My hiway mpg went way up. Even at 85mph.
My builder/tuner left some forgiveness in the tune so I can run 87 and up but I don't.
When the cash comes back I may have him tune to 93 and see what she does!

I don't know what gear ratio glock has and didn't look lol but cam+gear ratio+tire size all need to match the cam. Swapped gears last Sat and my mpg went through the roof, during the week I usually fill the tank every two days and this week I filled it on Monday and still have 1/2 tank left.

get the torque convertor from circle D! A 3200-3600 is fun to drive, dont be affraid to go too big on the stall or gears. I drove in houston traffic everyday with my set up and it was great. what gears are you running? you need at least 4.10 b/c if you are stock, you probabaly have 3.73,3.42, or 3.08. the tsp 220/220 or 228/228 are both great cam choices but you have to have a TC

3.73, I'd rather run a cam that doesn't need a stall and gears, or a stall at minimum. Not looking to destroy people in Mexico or at the track, just something more than what I have now.

Thanks for all the info so far.

Iskys LS cams are ok, but I am a pretty big fan of the 212/218 high lift or the Vinci "Ultra Torque". If I had it to do over again, I'd have Roger (Vinci) grind me a 210/218 .551/.551 on a 115 LSA + 4* and would've gone with LS6 springs instead of the PAC 1218s. I think you'll be extremely happy with something in the range we're all suggesting. As a side note, I actually gained about 1MPG city even untunned with my cam.

I wouldn't hesitate to put a stall in there. I have the yank tt3000 and it is super tight, drives almost like stock behind my tr224 cammed 5.3.
From what everyone is saying and the searching I did for my z71, seems like the 212-218 is a good choice.

All of these suggestions are great, although I would recommend trying to get a friend to let you drive his/her stalled vehicle before decided blindly. From my experience I have seen a lot of guys that love to dd big converters, but there are also a lot of people that think anything larger than stock is too much for the street.

Personally I dd'd a 4000 converter, granted that was in a z28, but I loved it and would do it again in a heartbeat... $ .02

I personally dislike loose converters. I would love to get rid of my 245mm converter and go with a much tighter 278mm. I like the stall speed around 3200-3600 but I daily drive my truck and the looseness of a tiny converter gets on my nerves. I really don't care to drive the truck from a stop and have to throttle the motor to 2300rpm or so to accelerate normally. Just my personal preference though.
