Default another 6.0 ? dont shot me.. doing research as of now.

ok i have finally decided not to play around with my 5.3 just because i will want more power in the end, well right now i'm set on a 6.0 but not set if i should go turbo or all motor, whats everyone one take on this. i have been talking to a few buddies and some say all motor and some say turbo. i am no way in a rush to build or install until this upcoming summer right now i'm just doing research so when i do get motor and start the project i want it done right the 1st time around. thanks.

Thats mostly preference. What do you want? Either way, you can make it quick. Personally I would wanna turbo it. Just seems like more fun.

I would just put a turbo on the 5.3L and you will make way more power than an NA 6L. KBracing makes a bolt on kit so not really time consuming. You could bolt it on faster than an engine swap.

I thought about a 6.0 swap for my truck later on, but ill prolly just turbo my 4.8. Like black04 said, its not as time consuming as you might think. Just pick up a kb kit and get the supporting mods and enjoy 500hp until your transmission blows. Thats my plan lol

I'd throw a turbo on the 5.3, if I were you. I rode in Blake's (chevrolet all the way) slobalt this weekend with a 4cyl turbo & it pulled harder than cammed & bolt ons 6.0s that I've rode in. I think I'd be pissing in the wind if I put a turbo on the 4.8, so I'll probably swap to a 6.0 then slap a turbo on it.
