Default alternator

anybody know what size alternator is in the 4.8L, also thinking about going to a higher amp alt.. mine started to whine today when i got it started after work.
got a stereo, amp and two 10s plus driving lamps. when i have my lights, a/c and stereo on you can see the guage move from 12amps to about 9 amps. i know i need a strike cap for the amp just havnt got one yet.

factory alts are 105amp.i installed a 130amp alt off a escalade. pretty pricy though. you might be able to find one in a salvage yard. look for one off a avalanch or escalade.
