Default also lookin for mufflers again!

im in the same boat as Vortec327. ive been tryin to find a good muffler that will be better than stock, sound good and give me a little better MPG. YES I WILL KEEP MY FOOT OUT OF IT FOR A LITTLE WHILE! i was looking at Performanceproducts4trucks.com and i found this. http://www.performanceproducts4truck...fflers&type=10

magnaflow 7" RD XL muffler. PN on this website is 801868, 3"CI/3"CO 24" BODY. should this fit my '00 ECSB 5.3? and the price is $52.99. sound like a good price?

anyone suggest another muffler? i can do some fab work and weld all the peices my self. i was just wondering if someone on here could help me out and save me a headache?
Thanks Guys!!

i think I read that it is a 3 chambered muffler??? need to look for a straight through design..... or you are looking for better performance....

My jba kit came with two magnaflows in place, I love the way they sound. IMproved my fuel mileage also.

Stainless Works Chambered mufflers sound pretty good. Nice deep rumble at idle and hardly any drone. Right now I just have them dumped under the bed till I can afford to take the pipes all the way out the back. They have hardly any rasp and where most exhaust has a high pitched tone around 3k these still have a deep tone under acceleration.
