Damn so the internals are fine just the converter that sucks and the lack of line pressure.
Lemme ask you this: can you get a higher stall converter on the Allison, I am pretty hard-core thinking on going with 8.1 power.

i have Allison 1000 in my 02 chevy 2500hd and it shift at 3000rpm all the time and tow mode wont work but the light comes on telling me im in tow mode i have 3 codes that i cant get rig of.

i never had a problem until after i in stalled the new howells wiring harness and new ecm for an 03-04 8.1l with custom tune from nelson performance i also add new 03-04 throttle body and new 03-04 tac. tranny shift fine but its killing my gas shifting at 3000rpm all the time
