air/fuel gage ?

Default air/fuel gage ?

my buddy has a 97 camaro and he wants to install a air/fuel gage. whitch wire does he hae to tap into for the guage to work. thanks.

They are a waste of time unless you go with a wideband.The little flashing lights get kind of anoying and the narrowband O2 sensors aren't acurate enough to tell you anything.A fuel pressure gauge is a lot more usefull.

Well on my 03 silverado.... it was the purple/white wire coming out of the PCM.... It could be different on his camaro!?!?

I disagree! If you arent running n20 then a narrow band A/F gauge is decoration but the gauge Im using(DynoTune) is very accurate at WOT(when the n20 kicks on) and thats the only time Im worried about it. Anywhere else besides close to WOT is all over the place!

I told him that they where useless but he liked it. whatever, he does have n20 so maybe he knew something I didnt. thanks for the help guys. later

The FJO setup is the best IMO. Unless you get an Innovate LM1 WB O2.

thanks, they look good. do they work well. whats the difference in wide band and the regular a/f guages?

A non wideband one reads off you o2 sensors!
